Alberto Calva founded Acus Consulting in 1989. He is a business consultant, entrepreneur, executive educator, professor, international speaker in finance and economics and an author. He has been an executive and a board member for companies and not-for-profits.

He is one of the few consultants who has been working internationally for over 20 years and in that time he has delivered projects in eight countries. He has trained close to ten thousand executives and entrepreneurs from over 20 different countries in the last 25 years.

Alberto’s intellectual strengths may be with numbers and analysis but it is his unique mix of academic, practical, entrepreneurial and hands-on experience that makes him a personable and sought after team player among investors, shareholders and top management.

He holds a Bachelor degree of Industrial Engineering, a Master degree of Economics, an MBA, with a major of Finance, and is a PhD candidate. He has been a part time professor in two leading graduate business schools since 1989.

Alberto has written more than 400 articles on finance and business and published a book in Spanish called What Every Manager Should Know About Finance.
